XPRESS PAYMENTS MD/CEO DR (MRS) MARKIE IDOWU SWORN IN AS AN ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER OF WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY IN NIGERIA (WITIN) AND ALSO APPOINTED AS CO-CHAIR IN THE NIGERIAN FINTECH REGUVATORS FORUM

Women in Technology in Nigeria (WITIN), today the 5th of November 2020, swore in the newly appointed Advisory Board Members for July 2020 to July 2022 one of which was the MD/CEO of Xpress Payments Dr (Mrs) Markie Idowu. WITIN is one of the world’s largest and leading community of women in tech registered as non-profit organisation and association in Nigeria.


Likewise, Fintech Association Nigeria inaugurated the Fintech Fund Advisory Team and Nigerian Fintech Reguvators’ Forum, in a bid to address some of the challenges innovators/fintechs face in Nigeria.


The Forum appointed the President of the Association, Dr Segun Aina as the Chair, the MD/CEO, Xpress Payments, Dr Markie Idowu and the National Coordinator, Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE)/NITDA, Dr Amina Sambo, as the co-chairs.
The Nigerian Reguvators Forum was set up as the platform for progressive interactions between all the Regulators and Innovators to co-learn & co-create solutions toward advancing Fintech growth in Nigeria.


The Fintech Fund Advisory Team and the Nigerian Fintech Reguvators’ Forum are being positioned to champion creativity by instilling a culture of innovation in the country that can generate employment, make life easier for the consumers and grow the economy of Nigeria.
